The seven lake walk is also known as “the lake of the gods” or “the lake of the gods.” It is located in Uttarakhand’s Uttarkashi district. The trek is surrounded on both sides by breathtaking valleys: the Bhagirathi Valley on the west and the Bhilangana Valley on the east.
The Kush Kalyan Plateau, which is surrounded on all sides by numerous other small lakes, is located to the north of this lake. The peak of this hill is where the lake is located. The locals believe the lake to be rather auspicious, so they perform an annual ritual of taking their god around it on their shoulders.
Another local legend about this lake is that once, after performing a rite in this lake, a king gave Lord Vishnu a thousand sahastra flowers. Trekking in Uttarakhand is a must-do for any avid trekker because it allows you to see spectacular green meadows, wild fauna, and flora, as well as great peaks like Jaonli, Srikanth, and other high Himalayan ranges.
This location is also remote, with few visitors or trekkers passing by.The S ahastra Tal trek is a lesser-known but stunning and fascinating journey through the Himalayas.
